World No Tobacco Day

World No Tobacco Day is celebrated around the world on May 31. This annual celebration focuses on the dangers of using tobacco, the business practices of tobacco companies, what WHO is doing to fight the tobacco epidemic, and what people around the world can do to protect the right to health and healthy living for themselves and for future generations.

This year's Day promotes 100% smoke-free environments as the only effective way to protect people everywhere from exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke.

Join in this year's celebration of World No Tobacco Day with the slogan "Smoke-free inside: Create and enjoy 100% smoke-free environments". Claim your right to clean air, free from tobacco smoke.
